The logistics industry is a driving force of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the state itself is already today a winner of globalisation.

Thanks to its excellent position in the booming region of the Baltic Sea, its efficient ports and well developed hinterland connections within the West-East and North-South corridors, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is able to considerably benefit from the rapid development of worldwide flows of goods and traffic.

Therefore, politics, business, chambers, associations and science launched the “Logistics Initiative Mecklenburg-Vorpommern” in 2007.

Input in ideas, projects and collaborations in the field of logistics are the orders of the day and a major part of safeguarding the future of our federal state.
